Hi! do you notice a little change on my blog? No? okay ( ._.)
Well, look at the right corner of my blog, there is a Follow button like the button we used to see on Tumblr!
I was, actually looking for a way to make my blog (blogger) totally working as Tumblr, you know, reblog thing. Then, it led me to this blog: Dancing Panda. She wrote a tutorial how to make a follow button like tumblr. So, I tried it and it works perfectly! Now, no need to ask how to follow my blog (if only someone asked) :)
I thought, hey why don't I post the tutorial here? In fact, I do a little editing to the code, just adjusted it the way I like. So, you just have to go to Dashboard - Layout - Add Gadget - HTML/Java Script and copy the code below (this one from Dancing Panda):
<a style="display:scroll;position:fixed;top:45px;left:15px;" href="http://www.blogger.com/follow-blog.g?blogID= YOUR BLOG ID" title="Follow"><img src="http://assets.tumblr.com/images/iframe_follow_alpha.png?468" /></a><a style="display:scroll;position:fixed;top:15px;left:15px;" href="http://www.blogger.com/home" title="Dashboard"><img src="http://assets.tumblr.com/images/iframe_dashboard_alpha.png?468" /></a>
then save it. You can find your blog ID here:
it's work, isn't it? maybe a little weird to find the button on the left side, huh? so yeah, I edited the code, move to the right top and make the two buttons in a row, just like tumblr. here is my code:
<a style="display:scroll;position:fixed;top:5px;right:100px;" href="http://www.blogger.com/follow-blog.g?blogID=8151583088154084779" title="Follow"><img src="http://assets.tumblr.com/images/iframe_follow_alpha.png?468" /></a>
<a style="display:scroll;position:fixed;top:5px;right:15px;" href="http://www.blogger.com/home" title="Dashboard"><img src="http://asseats.tumblr.com/images/iframe_dashboard_alpha.png?468" /></a>
